Among the more visited North Carolina Beaches are the Holden and Wilmington beaches up until the stretch of barrier islands that is the Outer Banks. History buffs would surely get a kick out of the numerous museums and legends surrounding these coasts. Whilst history buffs relish this, environmentalists would surely enjoy the fauna and flora that grow and thrive abundantly here. Natural trails, wildlife refuges and bird watching are just some of the activities they can enjoy.
