Carolina Beach State Park embraces a sanctuary of different variety of waters like fresh waters and salt waters flowing from the Atlantic Ocean to Cape Fear River. With this very unique natural feature, Carolina Beach State Park offers a lot of activities not just in the water set- up but also with the nature around the place. The following is a list of activities you can do in Carolina Beach State Park:

1. Camping. Camping in Carolina Beach State Park has its own comprehensive amenities and services you can avail. You can camp with your family or with a group in campgrounds located near a swamp trail or in the area of fresh pine trees and oak trees. Many camping sites are available for rent. If you go in a group of 25 or more people, be sure to have a reservation in advance.

2. Boating or sailing. You can choose from an array of different water types to have boating with your family and friends. Boats are for rent and boat personnel are always available. If you want to go on boating on your own, be sure to ask permission first from the locals or the management for safety. Depending on the weather and updates on tidal waters, the management is responsible in educating tourists on forecasts.\

3. Fishing. Fishing is allowed on the river banks and catch different species of fresh water fishes. However, you might need a license if you want to go fishing in the area.

4. Hiking. Expect for different types of trail to endure. You can choose from trails which are flat and just walk on it or if you are that adventurous, you can choose to hike up more difficult trails.
